    Hi i have downloaded your software but after installing in the mt4.. when i drag on the chart.. it is displaying forex arbitrade–powered down?
    what does that mean?
    when i click on enter trade button, it is displaying “this facility is not available in demo version”

      Here is a message from Kevin our lead programmer about this issue…

      This issue is normally due to your MT4 not having DLLs enabled, or has something else preventing it from running. In Metatrader 4 go to Tools -> Options… click on the “Expert Advisors” tab and make sure “Allow DLL Imports” is checked and “Confirm DLL Function Calls” is NOT checked. Click “OK” and re-start MT4. From there, try and run the software again. If it is still giving you the same issue, open your Terminal window (located across the bottom of MT4) and click on the “Experts” tab. When you try and open the software, any errors that occur will be printed out here. Simply write into support@fximpact.com with any errors that you see in that portion, and they’d be glad to help you from there.

      Yes, you need to run the script in each Metatrader in order for the program to track all the price data from each broker and it needs to remain open to place trades.

    A demo for this capability is unheard of in this market. Thanks very much for making it available.

    After installing the demo I was confused by the “oneLotEquals” input. Apparently it is the product of multiplying contract size by leverage. However, since the contract size is specified in the base currency for whichever pair is traded, the unit is not always US Dollars, even though the chart comment uses the dollar sign ($). Further, both contract size and leverage are available to the script as parameters supplied by MT4 for the account logged in, so why is there a need to have the input at all?

      Hi Bill,

      I got this break down from our lead programmer Kevin…

      oneLotEquals is a parameter set up as a way for the user to easily specify if they are using a mini/micro account.
      The fact that it’s denounced in dollars like that is just a simple way for the user to tell the software how a standard lot should be handled.
      The terminology is a bit different, but it’s basically an “example” as a USD based entry point.
      1 lot = 1000 means that you are trading on a standard account where 1 lot, on a USD based pair, requires 1,000 of capital
      1 lot = 100 means you are trading on a mini account where 1 lot, on a USD based pair, requires 100 of capital.

      On most demo accounts, 1.0 is standard lot, 0.1 is mini lot. However, since many brokers operate differently, 1.0 can be a mini lot as well.
      This is simply a way for the user to tell the script, in plain english, what 1 lot on a USD based pair should equal in money.

      And you’re right, it can be calculated without the use of this input. However, on some MT4 accounts, the function used to determine this value
      (MarketInfo with MARGININT) returns values not true to the actual value (improper broker settings).
      So, we feel it most reliable for the user to “spell it out” to the script so there is no discrepancies.

      Furthermore, if this calculation was done the same way regardless of USD based or not..then the lot sizes would still be the same on both accounts,
      which is the only requirement.

      First make sure that you have both broker’s Metatrader installed on your computer. You need to open BOTH Metatraders and attach the script to any chart. on both platforms.     Won’t let you enter a trade, have to buy the full version to fully test it out. Guess all we can do is see the arbs but not open a trade? I’m definitely going to buy the full version I’ve bought other products from Mr. Fielder and found his systems to be very thorough and viable. I expect none less from this one. Thank you Mr. Fielder for this demo, even though it is not fully operational.

    OK, I have downloaded file. Installed the program. Watched all the videos, followed the instructions and when I drag the script to the MT4 screen it says it is powered down. Is that due to being the weekend or something else? Also, how do I connect different brokerages?

    1. The arb software presumably collects quotes from all MT4′s installed on your pc and finds arbs between them quotes ?
    2. Does each MT4 (from the different brokers you are using) that you want the software to collect the price quotes from have to be open for the arb software to collect the quotes from and thereby find the arbs ?

      The answer to your first question is yes, you run the script on each copy of Metatrader and it gives you a single interface to see all the data from each broker.
      Yes, you have to have each copy of Metatrader open and running the script for it to work.

    Intresting concept but not sure if this can be tested on demo as slippage on demo is oftern 0 so no requotes and what not. You may find it works on demo but no tlive.

    Witin live you would have to be very selective about brokers only the top ecn or stp broker id assume.

    I’ve installed and re-installed 4 times, and I keep getting “No key found in your registry (could be a bad installation)! Please re-install mPowerFX or contact support@fximpact.com if the error persists.”

    Support has not responded, and we’re getting close to market open.

    Anybody else encounter this?

      Hi Dave,

      Make sure that you install the software as an administrator, that error usually occurs there is not sufficient permission for the software to copy the necessary system files. To do that right mouse click on the install file, click on run as administrator and then continue to install it as normal. This should resolve your issue, if not shoot us an email to support.

    Thanks for the reply but if I can’t see the Arb platform how am I to know that there is any trades available even if I can’t trade them.
    This is all I see, and it is no help to evaluate the software and I guess not helping you to sell it either.

    This looks great, cant wait. When we have a loss because the arb diappeared what size in pips would it be, for instance on a 5 pip arb? Is the loss larger with larger arbs, such as at market opening and therefore for safety we are better off chosing the smaller arbs?

    Jason: “The demo version of the software does not place trades, that’s it.” In other words, we can only observe the console and see how many arbs setup. Is this correct? Then the real juice of knowing whether I am making real money or not on real brokers is only after I pay for the license. Correct?

      Please read this message from Kevin our lead programmer about this issue…

      This issue is normally due to your MT4 not having DLLs enabled, or has something else preventing it from running. In Metatrader 4 go to Tools -> Options… click on the “Expert Advisors” tab and make sure “Allow DLL Imports” is checked and “Confirm DLL Function Calls” is NOT checked. Click “OK” and re-start MT4. From there, try and run the software again. If it is still giving you the same issue, open your Terminal window (located across the bottom of MT4) and click on the “Experts” tab. When you try and open the software, any errors that occur will be printed out here. Simply write into support@fximpact.com with any errors that you see in that portion, and they’d be glad to help you from there.

    Jo , I’m having same problems as you. It came up with a few arbs but can’t place trades. I have had it running for a few hours now and at some point it powered down on me. So far with 4 demo accounts running it has only picked up 4 arbs.

      Arb trades occur quickly so the best way to catch them is to be at your computer taking the trades as they come.
      There are alert sounds that let you know when an arb comes up so you do not have to watch the program the entire time you are running it.

      Hi Ross,

      Once you have installed the software you run it from within Metatrader so there will be no icon on your desktop. If you look in your Metatrader Navigator, look under scripts
      and you will find FXI=Connect_Demo-V142, by attaching that to any chart it will run the program. You just repeat this on each Metatrader for the various brokers you are using.

    Been running 10hrs since the open 06.00 Perth Australia time, using 6 brokers on demo accounts, given me 9arbs (for a total of 56pips). As this is using demo accounts results dont reflect true live trading, been looking to activate the trading button and possibly run this on live accounts but the link which pops up http://www.forexarb.com doesnt seem to take me anywhere apart from to program download page i have already downloaded.?? , would be nice to trade using this program for a period using live broker accounts. Where do i go to activate trading, i assume theres a cost to using the trading application…?

    i cannot see how this works if you buy from on broker you have a buy trade and sell from other broker you have a sell trade these could go any where . the demo is of little use as it not show how trades would perform.am i missing something ???

    Excellent…the arb trades are coming in; I got 2 EUR/USD and 3 GBP/USD in my log. I CANNOT enter the trade as the button has been disabled. So, I guess I will have to assume the scope of the demo is the linking with the brokers and the app throwing in trades w/o the ability of actual execution. Thanks & Cheers……Sam

    I note that only one of the Brokers show the margin amount constantly changing. The other three Brokers show no margin change at all over many hours. Does this mean that these 3 are not participating? All 3 show ‘running arb ………’ in the chart Window and the charts are connected and operating OK. Am I missing something?

    I let it run for about 6 hours on just 4 brokers demo accounts, and i count just over 100 pips in the last 6 hours some as high as 8.9 and lots of 1 and 2′s. Next step is to let it run on a few live accounts, then buy the software to actually place the trades. so far it sounds and looks very promising!

    Why is this said to be a trial when it’s not? Do you guys know the definition of ‘trial’ ? It means we can test something for a certain period of time ….. This is not a trial its just clearly a marketing scheme, a good one i’ll give you that. But this is not a demo, it’s just meant to tease you & make you buy it then find out it probably doesn’t work, as with 99% of other bots & software like this.

    1 – I work with Fapturbo on an account. Is there any conflict between this software and Fapturbo? Should I open an additional account to work exclusively with ForexArb, so that there is no EA interference?

    2 – Does ForexArb only work with the charts you open and drag the script to? Or when you double-click the script, automatically it works on all pairs?

      There should be no problem using Forex Arb and any EAs that you are running as long as you run the script on its own chart. That being said once you run the program it will gather all the pair data from the Metatrader you are running it on.

    Why is it that when a trade comes into the “Trades” screen it differs from the “Max profit” in the “Arb history” screen? The Max profit seems to be way higher then the actual profit that shows in the “Trades” screen & seems misleading.

      The “max profit” area is an area that shows the maximum amount of potential profit that the arb opportunity reached while it was a trade possibility.
      The number in the “Trades” tab is what that opportunity is right that second. For example, if an arb opportunity opens up at 1 potential pip in profit,
      and then jumps to 6, then back down to 1..the number in the max potential profit column will read 6 (the highest number possibly gotten from the trade)
      while the number in the trades column will read 1 (because the profit potential for the arb is 1 right at that moment).

    I noticed a large number of Arbs today are quite fast. Around 1 to 4 seconds. By the time the “CHIME” sound of the software sounds off the Arb opportunity is gone.

    1.) Other then just starring at the screen do you have any other suggestions on maximizing the opportunities to catch these arbs?

    2.) any hops on automation in the future (that would help)?
